Featured by WordPress as one of the top ten daily blogs, Project 365 quickly gained a global following, transforming into a movement that inspires compassion and empathy as powerful forces for unity. With initiatives like “Where We Live” and “Word Share” reachouts, which invite participants to share glimpses of their lives and heartfelt messages, the project fosters connections that go beyond borders. As strangers revealed their truths—moments of joy and struggle—thousands of readers from around the globe looked beyond bias, embracing a shared responsibility to improve our world. This growing community proves that small acts of recognition, love, and openness can bridge even the deepest divides. Today, Project 365 continues to expand through RadstoneBlog, encouraging each of us to see the world through others’ eyes.
It all began when Richard started blogging and posting daily essays and portraits sharing the experience of interviewing and photographing random strangers every day for almost two years. Hundreds of diverse individuals—each with unique hopes, fears, and views—answered a set of common questions, revealing a profound message: the universal need for empathy.
As thousands more read these essays, saw the faces of those who shared their stories, commented, and contributed to the Where We Live and Word Share reachouts, a global dialogue began. One that continues to inspire countless individuals to improve how we view and treat one another, one thought, one interaction, and one good deed at a time.

Project 365 is a passion project led by Richard that for over a decade has captured the stories, portraits, and voices of thousands of strangers, weaving a message of empathy and shared humanity. This ongoing endeavor spans strategy, content creation, digital and social channels, and advocacy, reaching audiences through a dedicated website, digital platforms, speaking engagements, and outreach initiatives. Through storytelling, Richard shares his transformative journey with those he calls “Strangers-Now-Friends,” inviting us all to see beyond our differences.
