So we get a call from a good producer friend. He says one of his clients has a complex project that might be right up our alley. As he explained the assignment, we instantly bought in. After all, we love a challenge!

The layouts called for the complete creation of multiple variations of surreal imagery representing ten specific regions of Columbia and a full line of Arturo Calle apparel. From the coastal area of Barranquilla to the cloudy and rainy city of Bogota, and everything in between, we created more than 40 culturally motivated photo illustrations featuring men wearing just the right clothing for the scene.

A production that would require more than well-thought-out studio days photographing talent A deep pull of product and a long list of elements were needed to create photo illustrations depicting each region specified. A detail-oriented production approach ensured an organized, cost-effective, and highly detailed production… plus some imagination to come up with solutions (like incense smoke to illustrate colorful coffee steam). Again, our cup of tea.

What we could not shoot we researched, acquiring stock imagery that gave us regionally indigenous trees, surreal foliage, birds, grassy fields, coffee plantations, coastlines, ponds, and skies native to Columbia. 

In the end, we delivered the entire project on deadline, casting to delivery, in just under a month. A publication date never missed!
